Just think of Vietnam Tour
and Discover Hidden Charms

Hello and welcome to VietnamCharms.com!

Your trip to a country will be more enjoyable when you have local friends or acquaintance. Why? Because you can ask for useful information about where to visit and stay, what to do and eat, how to spend time and money effectively, etc. Those are what you need to have a successful journey.

What if you don’t know any local friend (yet) when preparing a trip to my country?

Don’t worry! A good website with truthful information can really help, just like friends do.

My name is Long Dao and I am Vietnamese. I have over 30 year living, working, and traveling on my motherland. So I believe my knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm can help you in your trip to my country.

I understand it’s not easy to find trustworthy information on internet, especially when we’re preparing for a vacation. Hotel and tour advertisement is everywhere and so over-used that we easily get lost in the information sea.

So on this website, I guarantee you can find real information and promise no endless list of accommodation.

I will talk about hidden charms of my country, which maybe only Vietnamese know but do not tell foreigners. I will also share travelling tips and guide. Most of them are from my own experience and from my family and friends who are living and working here. I hope you will find useful information and can visit Vietnam soon.

For now, let’s find out what you can get from this website. Well, you’ll obtain nothing but, again, information, useful information, and real information.

First of all, let’s talk about…

Beaches

With over 3,000 kilometer of coastline, the state boasts a number of pristine beaches with white sand and blue ocean. Some of them rank in the top 100 most beautiful beaches in the world. I can’t help telling you more about the famous beaches including Lang Co, Da Nang, Nha Trang, Mui Ne, and Phu Quoc.

Say Hello

With all above being said, there still exists a little sad reality that many foreigners merely know my country as a part of a past notorious war. They’re more concerned about the war information such as POW, MIA, weapons used, war protest, casualties, etc. That’s part of miserable history, which I won’t focus on. Instead, I’ll try to bring you another perception of the real and existing nation: the dimensions of peace, charm, and beauty.

You’ll understanding what I’m trying to convey through a beautiful song named Bonjour Vietnam, written by Marc Lavoine, and performed by Pham Quynh Anh. It depicts a view about the country from perspective of a Vietnamese overseas, who knows her home country only by the sights of war in a war movie. She’s longing to come back, to touch the soil, the soul, and the root of where she belongs to.

So, have you’ve visited my country before? What do you think? You may share your some photos or comments here with other visitors. If you don’t like visiting my country, please tell me how. I’d love to hear from you!
